A193 B7 Bolts for the Oil and Petrochemical Industry
2025-08-08 09:17:09

In modern industrial settings, B7 bolts, as high-strength fasteners, are widely used in the oil, petrochemical, offshore vessel, and other harsh working environments. Their excellent performance and broad applicability make them an irreplaceable component in various industrial applications.

Basic Characteristics of B7 Bolts
B7 bolts are made from chromium-molybdenum alloy steel and are produced through strict controlled quenching and tempering heat treatment processes. This allows B7 bolts to achieve excellent strength and heat resistance during heat treatment, enabling them to withstand temperatures up to 500°C. Standard B7 bolts typically have a tensile strength above 125,000 PSI, far exceeding that of ordinary carbon steel bolts, ensuring reliable performance even under high-pressure conditions. This level of tensile strength and high-temperature adaptability makes B7 bolts an excellent choice for connections in high-pressure and high-temperature piping and vessels.

In the oil and petrochemical industries, equipment often operates in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, especially in refineries, natural gas purification facilities, and chemical production plants. The high strength and heat resistance of B7 bolts allow them to effectively withstand these extreme conditions. In high-pressure reactors, heat exchangers, and pressure vessel connections, B7 bolts are critical components for ensuring sealing and structural integrity. They are also widely used in pipeline flange connections, where their excellent properties ensure the stable operation of pipeline systems.
